Apprenticeship Salary for Metal Engineering
Compensation According to the Guidelines of the Collective Agreement for the Metal Industry
As an apprentice at weba in Steyr/Dietach, you will receive attractive compensation in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. In addition to your base salary, we also offer bonuses for successful apprenticeship completions and exceptional performance to reward your motivation and commitment.
The Apprenticeship

Thomas Gegenbauer, our dedicated apprenticeship trainer, has extensive experience in metal technology and toolmaking – and will teach you everything you need to know. He ensures our training remains top-notch with regular training sessions.
He focuses on personal support, practical learning, and the latest teaching methods. This way, you learn not only everything necessary for the job but also develop personally and are well-prepared for a great career with us.

How to apply for the apprenticeship with us:
Send application: Upload your application online, which should include a short letter explaining why you want the job, your resume, and your grades from the last two years.
Taster session: Once we've reviewed your application, we'll set up a date for you to come and visit.
Interview: We'll meet and talk about the training. If you're not of legal age, your guardians should also be present. We'll answer all questions.
Acceptance: If everything fits, you can start the training on September 2, 2024 (the contract starts on September 1, 2024).
