Thank you for your interest in working at weba Werkzeugbau Betriebs GmbH. Data protection is very
important to us, which is why we would like to inform you about the use of your application data (Art.
13 and 14 GDPR) in our company. The processing of your data (name, email and other information) is
always GDPR compliant.
This document is intended to inform you about the processing of your personal data and to clarify your
rights with regard to your data. According to the GDPR, personal data is all information that relates to
an identified or identifiable natural person. In this context, identifiable means that this information
can be used to draw conclusions about their personality (Art. 4 Para. 1 GDPR). As a company, we
process your data in accordance with Art. 4 (2) GDPR (storage, deletion, use or internal transfer of the
data).
Your data will be processed based on your application in order to be able to decide whether an
employment relationship can be established. Your knowledge, skills and professional qualifications
are particularly important here.
From our point of view, we take all necessary technical and organizational measures to offer your
data comprehensive protection (Art. 32 GDPR). However, we cannot ensure that there are no
security gaps in the transmission of data over the Internet.
1 Data category
With your application to weba Werkzeugbau Betriebs GmbH, we receive personal data from you. In
some cases, data from third parties (Xing, LinkedIn) can also be used.
This is your personal information that you provide, such as your professional qualifications and your
knowledge or skills. These represent an important selection basis for us. Furthermore, we would like
to point out that minutes of the interviews are kept.
2 Purpose of processing and the legal basis
Your personal data will only be used for the purpose of the application process. Your data will not be
passed on to third parties. It is only passed on internally to the responsible department head. If an
employment relationship comes about, your data can be processed according to the legal regulations.
If you are employed, you will receive separate employee information on data protection and the
processing of your data in our company. The legal basis for processing your personal data is Section 38
GDPR in conjunction with Art. 6 GDPR.
Furthermore, the processing can also be lawful if you give your express consent to keep the application
on record for subsequent job advertisements. This written consent must reach the company within
one week. Your data will then be kept for another year after the end of the application process and
taken into account for any other positions. The data will then be irrevocably deleted.
3 Forwarding of the data
Your personal data, which we receive through your application, will only be passed on internally to the
relevant department head. In addition, the responsible employee in the HR department has access to
your application data. Under no circumstances will your data be passed on to third parties.
4 Storage duration
In principle, your data will only be stored for as long as required by law or for the purpose of the
application.
The storage of your data takes place as stated here:
1. For the duration of the application process
2. If the application is rejected
a. Until notification of the rejection notice
b. As long as the data is required to clarify inquiries or disputes – but no more than 6
months from the date of the notification of rejection
3. When keeping records
a. If you have given your express consent to keep records, your data will be permanently
deleted one year after the end of the application process
5 Applications’ rights
According to the GDPR, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data
portability and objection. A written notification to weba Werkzeugbau Betriebs GmbH is required for
this.
If the protection of your data has been breached, which would result in a high risk for your personal
rights and freedoms, and if we cannot eliminate this risk through appropriate technical and
organizational security precautions, we will inform you immediately.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection
claims have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection
authority.
